Read Legal With Ease provides an AI-powered platform that analyzes legal documents and generates plain-language summaries, risk assessments, and educational explanations. The Service includes document analysis, the Clause Library, Attorney Finder resources, account management, and subscription plans.
The Service provides general information and educational content only. AI-generated analysis reflects a general reading of the submitted document text and is not tailored legal advice for your specific situation. Factors including jurisdiction, prior agreements, oral representations, and individual circumstances may materially affect how any contract term applies to you. We expressly disclaim any attorney-client or professional relationship with you.
You may use basic features without an account. To access history, enhanced analysis, or paid features, you must create an account and agree to: provide accurate information, maintain the security of your password, notify us of unauthorized access, and accept responsibility for all activity under your account.
You agree not to: submit documents containing information about others without their consent; circumvent or interfere with security features; use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access content; attempt to reverse-engineer our AI models; upload malicious code; violate applicable law; or misrepresent AI analysis as legal advice to third parties.
The Service, its design, code, brand, Clause Library content, and AI prompts are owned by or licensed to us. You retain ownership of documents you submit. By submitting a document, you grant us a limited license to process it solely to generate your analysis. We claim no ownership over your document content.
We offer Free, Pro ($9/month), and Business ($29/month) tiers. Paid plans auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or at our sole discretion within 7 days for technical failures. We may change pricing with 30 days' notice — continued use constitutes acceptance.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the AI analysis is correct, complete, or current. AI models can and do make errors.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the greater of (a) amounts you paid us in the three months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred dollars ($100).
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or any content you submit.
These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Disputes will first be attempted through informal negotiation (email to [email protected]). If not resolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Vancouver, BC, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or prominent notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
